a simple, yet ambitious idea
TRESSS® was born from a bold idea: to create a pool that is exceptionally safe, precisely engineered, and functional year-round, without sacrificing outdoor living space.
When Andrew and Cecilia Heard designed their own home, they found no Movable Pool Floor system in the U.S. met their standards for safety, precision, and architectural refinement. So they built one.
Andrew’s background in elite motorsports including Formula 1, IndyCar, the Indy 500, and NASCAR shapes the performance-driven engineering and uncompromising safety behind every system, while Cecilia leads the brand’s vision and luxury experience.
Together, they are redefining outdoor living:where engineering, architecture, and beauty align with purpose.
BEHIND THE NAME
The name TRESSS® carries a deeply personal and meaningful origin. In Spanish, “tres” means “three,” honoring the Heards’ three children — Sophia, Sebastian, and Stefani — each with a name beginning in “S.” The three S’s became a symbol of family, purpose, faith, and the inspiration behind the very first TRESSS® design.

The TRESSS® Smart Plunge Pool is a fully prefabricated, self-contained plunge pool system, delivered complete and ready for installation. Each Smart Plunge Pool includes the TRESSS® Movable Pool Floor as a standard feature, integrating adjustable depth, advanced insulation, and digital controls into a compact luxury solution.
Once delivered to the site, installation is typically completed in one day, including full system testing and calibration. Site preparation, utilities, and access coordination are reviewed in advance to ensure an efficient and streamlined installation process.
Yes. All TRESSS® products—including Movable Pool Floors, Smart Plunge Pools, and Smart Hot Tubs—are engineered for year-round, all-season use. High-performance insulation, climate-tested engineering, and energy-efficient systems ensure reliable performance and comfort in both warm and cold climates.
The water always remains within the pool structure. When the Movable Pool Floor rises or closes, it smoothly displaces the water beneath it. The system is engineered so the water does not drain, move, or transfer elsewhere, allowing seamless transformation without interruption.
