Can the Moving Pool Floor stop at any depth?
Yes. The Moving Pool Floor can be positioned at any desired depth, from fully closed to the selected water depth.
For the Smart Plunge Pool, the standard adjustable range is from 0 to 5 feet. Deeper configurations are defined during the engineering phase based on project requirements.
Where does the water go when the floor moves?
The water remains in place at all times. The floor moves vertically through the water, allowing the space to transform without draining or displacing water.
What is the insulation value of the Moving Pool Floor?
The Moving Pool Floor features R-30 insulation, while the pool walls provide approximately R-15 insulation, supporting optimal thermal performance year-round.
Why is a fence often not required with TRESSS® systems?
Because the Moving Pool Floor is ASTM-certified as an Automatic Pool Safety Cover, providing certified safety while maintaining architectural elegance.

Do I need to winterize the Smart Plunge Pool?
No. Thanks to its R-30 thermal insulation, the Smart Plunge Pool is engineered for year-round use and does not require winterization, even in cold climates.
What filtration and sanitization system is included?
The Smart Plunge Pool integrates the Clear Comfort® advanced water-treatment system, delivering exceptionally clean, low-maintenance water—often cleaner than drinking water.
Is the Smart Plunge Pool compatible with saltwater?
Yes. TRESSS® systems can be engineered for saltwater pools.
All materials and components are reviewed during the engineering phase to ensure compatibility, durability, and long-term performance.
What type of heating system does it use?
The system uses an electric spa heater designed for efficient and consistent temperature control.
What are the standard dimensions of the Smart Plunge Pool?
The standard size is 7 × 16 feet, with optional features such as swim jets, fountain jets, integrated steps, and bench seating.
